  Always great food, always great service. Definitely a nice treat after hitting the tables. Their dry aged steak is always a favorite.

  I was part of a party of four eating at David Burke's. The menu is really good, the service is excellent and the steak sublime. I'm a big steak eater and the Chateaubriand for two cut was perfect for two.
  So, why three stars. It would be an easy 4/5 but the size and price of the side dishes left an awful lotto be desired. They were tasty, the tempura beans were done very well indeed, but as a $12 side dish, there simply wasn't enough. This was compounded further when we looked at the whipped potato. Again, delicious, but a very small side for $12. We were told that the sides were for sharing. They are not.
  So, if I wanted a great steak, then this is a great place to feed but some element of either recalibrate get portions or price on the sides is needed before I go that route again.
  Finally, I compared the portion of mushrooms with portions at experienced at other $$$ steakhouses. Again, I'd say double the size of the side and patrons won't feel like the profits are being heaved out of accompaniments.

  From the moment the two hostesses greeted us, we were “in”- it was like we were family; we were friends, the atmosphere warm, cozy cool. Our waitress personable and funny as hell, and tolerant of our silliness. Every bite, astounding, every sip of their original beverages-outstanding. I have not been that impressed in quite a long time. Best Thanksgiving Day/Night ever. Pamela Slocum of CT
